Binalbagan Tourism Week 2023

The last week of September marks the celebration of National Tourism Week, as proclaimed through Proclamation No. 894 signed by former President Fidel Ramos on October 3, 1996. Our country has been observing this occasion annually, and this year, the Municipality of Binalbagan joined various cities and municipalities all over the Philippines in celebrating Municipal Tourism Week from September 11-15, 2023 adopting the United Nations World Tourism Organization- World Tourism Day with the theme "Tourism and Green Investments".

Holding the title of second place in the 2022 Tour Guiding Competition, represented by Ms. Angel Mae Sarad, a former Grade 11 student, along with her coach Ms. Liezl Joy D. Romero, The Light Christian Academy of ABC Children's Aid Philippines- Binalbagan Negros Occidental, Incorporated is delighted to have been invited for the second time to participate in two major activities for this celebration. Mr. Jedrick D. Mendoza and his coach, Mr. Jun Xavier B. Gicana, represented the school in the Tourism Quiz Competition 2023 - Senior High School category, which took place on September 13, 2023. Meanwhile, on September 14, 2023, Ms. Jennylene J. Castillo and her coach, Ms. Liezl Joy D. Romero, represented the school in the Tour Guiding Competition 2023 - Junior High School category. Both activities were held at the Municipality Hall of Binalbagan.
